Preview Documents Without Downloading
Document Preview lets you review supported PDFs and other source files inside Grid Monitor instead of downloading every document before you know whether it matters.

Where Preview is available
Preview can appear in supported workflows such as Following, the Filings Browser, PUCT commissioner memos, ERCOT KeyDocs, meeting materials, and other document views.
Open a preview
- Locate the document or filing.
- Select Preview or open the document from the supported in-page viewer.
- Review the source without leaving the Grid Monitor workflow.
- Download the original file only when you need a local copy.
Review ZIP filings
For supported ZIP filings, Grid Monitor can list the files contained in the package so you can open the relevant document without downloading and unpacking the entire ZIP first.

Compare two files when available
Some workflows support viewing more than one document in the same workspace. Use this when you need to compare related filings, versions, presentations, or source materials.

TIP: Preview is for speed. If you need to preserve a source for a record, citation, filing response, or legal workflow, download the original document from the source.
