Texas Legislature in Grid Monitor

Grid Monitor brings Texas legislative tracking into the same workspace you use for ERCOT, the PUCT, and other energy-market activity. This makes it easier to connect legislation with the regulatory and market issues it may affect.

What you can research

  • Texas bills from supported legislative sessions
  • Bill status and legislative activity
  • Legislative committee meetings and available meeting coverage
  • Meeting summaries, transcripts, clips, and supporting materials where available
  • Texas Utilities Code provisions
  • Related items you choose to Follow

Find a bill

Use the Legislature area or Global Search to locate a bill by bill number, author, keyword, subject, or other available fields. Open the bill record for its Grid Monitor details and related activity.

Follow important legislation

Use Follow on bills you need to keep in your personalized workspace. This lets legislative items sit next to related ERCOT, PUCT, or SPP items when you organize them with a common tag.

Review legislative meetings

For covered committee meetings and hearings, use the same Grid Monitor meeting tools available elsewhere: video, transcript, Smart Agenda, summaries, clips, and supporting materials as available.

Research the Utilities Code

Use the Texas Utilities Code Explorer when you need to move from a bill, regulatory issue, or discussion into the underlying statute.

TIP: A useful cross-venue workflow is to Follow the bill, the related PUCT project, and any downstream ERCOT control under one tag. That gives you one place to see the issue across the legislative and regulatory process.
